How Genius RF microneedling works
Reverse GLO uses Genius by Cynosure Lutronic. The system combines microneedles and controlled radiofrequency energy, with tissue feedback used to adjust energy delivery.
RF microneedling uses small needles to deliver radiofrequency energy into the skin, creating localized heat. It is a medical procedure. The device, treatment depth and energy settings matter, and your provider should explain the approach proposed for your skin and treatment area.
RF microneedling with a PDGF option
Compare Genius RF microneedling alone with a proposed Ariessence PDGF option. PDGF is a distinct product, and Ariessence pure PDGF+ is a topical aesthetic product. Your provider explains the exact product, application, evidence, added risks and separate cost before you decide.
Microneedling devices are not FDA-cleared to deliver cosmetics, topical medications or other products into the skin. A proposed combination is not automatically an FDA-cleared combination treatment. A product add-on does not remove RF microneedling risks.

Your skin and treatment area
Bring questions about the face, neck or body area you would like assessed. The device, treatment area, skin and medical history determine what may be appropriate. An area discussed during a consultation is not automatically suitable for treatment.
Suitability comes first
Tell your provider about medications, bleeding or healing problems, active skin irritation or infection, pigment changes, recent treatments and allergies. Ask which device will be used and about the provider’s training and experience with that device.
Comfort, recovery and aftercare
Ask how discomfort will be managed and what recovery may involve. Your provider should give you written instructions for skin care, sun exposure and when to resume your usual products. Recovery varies with the procedure and your response.
Results and session planning
Your provider explains the recommended number and spacing of sessions, how progress will be assessed and whether further treatment may be needed. Outcomes depend on the individual and procedure; improvement cannot be guaranteed and results may be temporary.
An informed decision
Understand
the risks.
Temporary redness, swelling, discomfort, bruising or bleeding may occur. Pigment changes and infection are also possible.
The FDA has reported serious complications with certain uses of RF microneedling, including burns, scarring, fat loss, disfigurement and nerve injury. Discuss these risks and available alternatives with a licensed health care provider trained in RF microneedling.
Seek medical care if you develop problems or are concerned after treatment.
